Rice Park Pavilion Fundraiser

What are we fundraising for?

The Town of Russell Parks Committee is fundraising for the construction of a community pavilion at Rice Park. We are planning to fundraise through February 2027, with installation of the pavilion planned for spring and summer of 2027.

Now that we have a playground at Rice Park, we'd love to add a pavilion to expand park offerings. This pavilion will be a great way for families to enjoy the park more, whether it be as location for a picnic or as a place to have a graduation party, family reunion or other special gatherings.

What are the pavilion details?

The plan is to have a pavilion with the following details:

  • 20' x 40' pavilion

  • Eastern White Pine timber beam construction

  • Metal roofing

  • Concrete floor

*Note: Design subject to change depending on actual funds raised.

Five Donor Recognition Levels

Pine: $500-$999

Maple: $1,000 - $4,999

Oak: $5,000 - $9,999

Cherry: $10,000 - $19,999

Walnut: $20,000+

Donors at the above levels will be recognized on a sign at the park when the pavilion is completed.

Donors at the Walnut level will be contacted individually about recognition.
