CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION What are we fundraising for? The Town of Russell Parks Committee is fundraising for the construction of a community pavilion at Rice Park. We are planning to fundraise through February 2027, with installation of the pavilion planned for spring and summer of 2027. Now that we have a playground at Rice Park, we'd love to add a pavilion to expand park offerings. This pavilion will be a great way for families to enjoy the park more, whether it be as location for a picnic or as a place to have a graduation party, family reunion or other special gatherings. Click Here for more information Visit https://givebutter.com/rice-park-pavilion-gleason to donate online NOTICE OF VACANCY TOWN OF RUSSELL SUPERVISOR The Town of Russell is accepting applications from qualified residents interested in serving as Town of Russell Supervisor to fill a vacancy on the Town Board. The Supervisor serves as a member of the Town Board and participates in decisions concerning the operation, finances, services, and policies of the Town. Position: Town of Russell Supervisor Term: To serve the remainder of the current term, as provided by Wisconsin law. Current term runs through April 2027. Qualifications Applicants must meet the legal qualifications for the office of Town Supervisor and be a qualified elector and resident of the Town of Russell. Knowledge of town procedures, municipal operations, and Wisconsin statutes is a plus. Applicants should be willing to learn and understand the responsibilities and legal requirements associated with serving on the Town Board. Interested residents should submit a letter of interest stating their qualifications, relevant experience, and why they would like to serve the Town of Russell as a Supervisor.
